Following are three suggested routes of private training with Ran Levari - modelled after the paths taken over the years with  many successful students.

1. The Journey

This is the standard route offered to baginners and mid-level players. A relaxed and flowing approach to intuitive learning and free movement brings anyone to a simple playing level from lesson one. Jamming is an integral part of this process and occurs in every lesson, through rhythmic ‘games’ and free duets.

- Stick grip and control

- Basic coordination

- Reading music simply and fluently

- Developing good learning and practice habits

- Understanding the basic rhythmic elements in modern music - getting familiar with the various musical styles available for a drummer to take part in.

- Exploring the student’s musical influences through active learning and research

- How to start/join a band, do a good job and have fun doing it.

This route is perfect for beginners and mid level students of all ages and aspirations - enjoyment in playing a musical instrument is not reserved to professionals.

This route is recommended for mid  level to advanced players who are struggling with a specific topic and would like to focus their time and effort on tackling one or more issues in a pre-determined series of sessions forming a personalized course.

Available topic include:

- Correct and effective hand techniques - all grips and methods. (Germanic, American, French, Moeller, Push-Pull etc.)

- Pedal control for speed and endurance

- Creative coordination

- Rhythmic composition - the elements that make up a groove - from traditional African to Electronic music

- Become your own teacher - Leaning and practicing techniques

- Drum tech skills - choose, tune and maintain your gear. (This can also be done at student’s studio/house)

- Elctronic primer - Signal flow, available instruments, incorporating electronics to acoustic kits.

- Drumming for non-drummer musicians

2. Pro Tune-up
3. Corrective Drumming
  & Injury rehabilitation

~This route is a unique plan for drummers who suffer from playing related injuries.~

More often then not such injuries are treated by professionals who are competent healers but are not able to point out the cause of the injury for lack of drumming technique knowledge.

When technical mistakes are then repeated, the injury returns in full force.

Through carefully implemented exercises in movement, breathing and muscle control, an injured musician can carefully maintain a regular practice routine and return to full and improved performance.

* This course is not meant to replace professional medical care but rather to augment it with additional training for relief of pain and future prevention.
